ok it's 2.8 auto, the girl "says" the panels and floor and such are in alright condition.... and it's for $100. bad brakes, and in need of repair in the rear wheel wells, and so far thats all i know my question is, is it worth it? i've got a stick bird right now, but the four door novelty is wearing thin, and i'm really not sure it's going to pass inspection... as far as i'm concerned it's solid, but an inspection may disprove me. so my question to you guys... should i bother with this, or does this sound like someone trying to pawn a pos on me?

well the problem is i need a quick fix for my problem, which is a lemon bird, and the thign is everythign with the brakes on the bird aside from the flex hoses is pretty much brand new, from the lines what are done by me, to the new rotors and pads in front and BRAND spanking new shoes in back, the only thign i don't have new is drums, and that can be easily remedied, so i can swap most of it probly, and alot of my random work is not really important on the bird, and i can part the bird out and probly get a little bit of money for the engine tranny combo. so ya, i'm goign to try to get pics, if i do and i like it, i'm going to buy it, and then post the pics in here to show you guys, and then the new project mysterio will probly take off like a bat out of hell

i almost bought a 92 drop top Z. they wanted 900 for it. needed alot of work. i was going to test drive it, and when it wouldn't start, and i poped the hood to realize the head gasket was gone... i realized it cost way to much to repair. needed alotta metal work, a new interior, needed a top, and motor work.

ya, she hasn't bothered to get back to me, and it'll be another month before i'm on the road kuz the government in canada is a bunch of slack brained retards... so i'm just goingt to keep working on the bird for now, and i'll put what i need to into it, i mean, if i get what i pay for, then a free bird needs alot of work
the money i put into it will take care of the freeness
so ya, i'm back to just doing the work on the bird, and hopefully soon i can take the dash to get apolstered, i'm going to do a light thin foam with that black velvet i've been wanting over it... i think it'll look nice and probly feel nice on my girls butt

ya, just ask Fudd... he walked away with a rolling 2.0 OHC Turbo with a getrag 5spd for a few hundred. (200 i think)... and still had some good pannels on it to use, and um, alotta phase 1 cav interior laying around in there.

ya but i already know what i'm getting into that that, it's nothign special, and i'd ratehr stick with my standard, it's more proctical for me to know both down the road, especially considering the fact that i plan to own a 65 vette convertable with a 454 and a really nice smooth stick, on that thing, i will pay big money for a fool proof racing clutch system. and who knows maybe i'll upgrade on the big if the engine proves to hold it's own for long enough to deserve a rebuild.! (which includes port and polish and lots of neat custom made goodies, kuz if it lasts long enough, i'll be out of sound engineering school and making $$$
