i was reading the paper yesterday and there was an add for a 88 sunbird turbo convertable with
ONLY 4,000 ORIGINAL MILES on it, i couldnt belive it,. the car must of NEVER been driven
so i go up to the dealership it was at today, and the guy told me it was already sold, im like damn it's only been a day and the guy said the car was garage kept and flawless....im kinda pissed cuz i wanted to snap a few pics to see if anyone on here was interested
ill see if i cant find an online add for it or something and get a pic.....
Thats probably the same one that was on ebay a while ago. They were asking $16,000 for it, needless to say no one bought it. but yes it was amazing. It still had the factory tires on it.
Oh yeah also meant to point out:
That car is not "Rare"
Its just rare to find one that is still brand new and garage kept.
How much did the stealership get for it?
<img src="http://www.geocities.com/fudd_22602/elmer-shoot.gif"> Old school Js rock
thats still practically brand new. i'd probably give at least 9K for it
...
No doubt that i would have loved to have it. If i did get it i would want to keep it garaged and off the road as a collectors piece. The sunbird GT was the fastest Jbody ever stock afterall.
yeap,. would of been dominated by the Turbo Sport, but um... we all know what happened there.
...
ill see what i can find out about what they got for it, but honestly yea whoever bought that car i hope they take care of it, cuz it's not to often you can find someone that took amazing care of a J
I thought my 1988 Sunbird GT Turbo Convertible had low miles. Mine has been garage kept since the day I bought it new. It has 13,000 original miles and looks like it just came from the showroom. It's black with a black top. All options including convertible boot. Just replaced original tires.
Was going to keep it because of the rarity, but decided to sell. See info in the classified section.
