parts car
Monday, August 22, 2005 7:13 PM
hey all, I am about to pick up a parts car later this week, anybody needing any 89Z parts?? I wont be using much of it, I wont be using any of the body and I heard it has a good hood and drivers door and the z body kit should be straight too. I am mostly taking interior parts and I will probably take the engine for a rebuild when mine decides to go. My engine only has 222 thousand miles though so I should be good for another hundred thousand or so. haha Let me know if anyone needs anything!

where are you at? I may be interested in the Z bumpers and skirts if you're close enough for me to come get the stuff, I don't want it bad enough to ship lol

I'm looking for the plastic trim panel that goes around the trunk latch on the body side (not the lid). Preferably black or dark grey.

I just bought the car today but I won't have it to check on whether or not it has this trim panel (it should) or not or the color but I will have it at my place this weekend and I can get you the color!

It is a second gen deck lid I believe and it appeared to be in good shape. I intend on taking the tail lights but if you want them bad enough just let me know.

Just let me know what its worth to you, the only thing I need off the dash is the wiper switch bezel, the rest is yours!!

As goes with everything else just let me know what this stuff is to you, I am just trying to get my money back off the car so I can get a new conv. top!! haha

sounds good gents. Please feel free to email me a reasonable offer and your name/address and I will start this weekend tearing the car apart. My email is russel@russelspc.com

Oh one more thing, If someone has a black convertible top boot I would be willing to do some trading as well! This car has a white top and even if it still has the boot I really want a black one instead.

okay, after further looking at my car and the new one I am going to make my 88 a parts car. It would be the black one below. I just looked at the undercarriage for the first time since I have owned the car and the structure is in really bad shape and the brace for the cv axle is literally broke in half!! So with this being said the other one has a little body damage but the frame is straight even though I am loosing my 5 speed it will be a lot less work to repair. Anyhow with that said 88 cavy up for parts car and all the stuff you all asked about is still available!!

How much would the hood be shipped to Denver zip code 80013?

Re: parts car

I will have to call and figure that out, the hood does have a corner that has broken away, its a small piece but nonetheless the hood is not flawless. If you are still interested let me know and I will get a price for ya!

how much for the tranny/cables/axles/etc for a tranny swap??

Re: fog lights
Tuesday, August 30, 2005 7:22 PM
for a 5 speed or automatic? I am not going to mess with putting a 5 speed in another car so the manual is for the taking, everything for the swap I will say 200 plus shipping unless its a local pickup. If you wanna give more or make an offer let me know.

how much for the front and rear bumpers side ground effects?
Re: parts car

How much for the front and rear sway bars -i including the rear swaybar hardware?

Does the car have the strut tower brace - If so I will take that also.

My shipping zip is 10512. You can tape the sway bars together and wrap them in clear plastic to ship them using UPS. This will make it easier than trying to find a big box. The sway bar hardware and strut bar I would like boxed.

My offer would be $75 plus the shipping cost for everything.
