well I finally tore my motor down and come to find out it had spun 2 bearings. So I got to looking they gave my the wrong head set for my car. Advance Auto gave me the head set for a 89 grand am turbo.So not thinking I had the wrong gaskets I built my motor.
the car ran for about 2500 miles then CLANCK I had it towed home. Ok know since they gave me the wrong gaskets Im driving it with know idea they were wrong parts. I noticed the radiator hoses swelling on hot days or if I ran it hard, then when I cut the car off it would hisssssssssssss after about 5 mins it would quit. Well in the mean time its starving my engine for oil. I didn't know that. therefore the oil journal and the water jackets didnt line up causing my car to spin 2 bearings.Advance made good on the bearing and replaced them but they said they wasn't going to make good on the head gasket. after I get done talking with them If they don't make good on the head gasket Im going to call the District Manager. WHat they don't know is I went to school with the DMs son in a different state and we were good friends. So I hope they make good

Now you'd actually get someone who knows what he's doing behind the counter, and he would note that the gasket is exactly the same. I used to work for them, and was surprised at how stupid some people were.
