Need advice on this setup

Sorry for the repost from the noob boards but i was told this would be the best area for it:

OK my current project i am going to start working is a 92 sunbird LE it has right now a 2.0L and an auto tranny <my knee is messed up so no stick for now >. Now i want to get creative to a point and try on of 2 things; first i would like to try to turbo charge the 2.0 but have found nothing other then the stock turbo motors, or doing up an Eco 2.2L or a 2.2L from a sunfire as they make turbo kits for those engines.

Haven't seen too many posts on the 2.0L to 2.2L swap so im guessing no one has done it or isn't sharing the info . One other problem i have is i live in one of the worse states for body cancer <rust belts of Michigan> and as such this car has some bad areas like doors and rear shock tower <driver side>. Any sights on replacement panels or doors would be great. I have also seen after-market places selling body kits for birds but no hoods is there add on hood pieces <ie scoops, ect> that someone could link to me or send in an email or IM?

Now the inside of the I Haven't came up with a game plan for yet still have some ideas though

Any help would be great once i know for sure I have the car I will post Pic's of it

the stock turbo for the 2.0 is underrated and very fast. did you use the search button for the 2.0 -> 2.2 swap. if it's nothing short of possible, it has been done here. you will probably have to either do sheet metal work on your door or get a new door all together. All the aftermarket hoods for cavaliers work for the sunbird too. usually they are the same hood and both models get their own specification. it's all in the sticky. fxdesigns, diza and classglassperformance all have hoods to choose from. a lot build their own hoods with scoops and fiberglass. any universal scoop or piece you want to use can be used. ebay is a great place to shop for scoops. like i said, if you search and look thru the sticky you'll learn a great deal of what's available to you as a second gener.

hot rod, street mod, whatever, just passion

Did a search 2.0 to 2.2 swap and came up with nothing <all forums and all dates> with 0 results . the other things i could have looked up if i wasn't on my way to work for the night. I hope to have the car soon as my current car is being a serious pain in the butt

if your going to swap. do something worth your money, not a 2.2...

v6 is used alot in the 2gs for swaps. any 3X00 series will bolt (as long as its not Vortech). and for the most part is a direct swap.

The w41 or Quad4 is possible. SpeedVision had one in his.

2.0 OHC turbo (LT3) is a great boost whore!

Yeah I have been looking at it I don't really want a 3x00 <bad memories of a 3400> and i might have access to a 2.0L turbo motor that is in my folk garage at the moment.
