i was wondering if anybody could tell me how to set the timing marks on this. there were notches on the block. it put the top mark up and the bottom one down. but its still running 30 pounds compression per cylinder and blowin out the throttle body. if you turn the distributor it quits blowin as much. its gettin fire and gas.
thanks for the help yall i appreciate it. maybe if i put a set of running boards on it yall might say somethin.
There are two notches on the back (metal) timing cover to line up with the notches on the cam belt pulleys. I think the cams notch should be straight up and the crank notch straight down, but you should find the marks on the timing cover to make sure.
