Ok you guys know i put a new top end on my S-Bird, and i used a 90 TBI head instead of a MPFI head. is there any difference between the two, because.....it has ALLOT more power, i don't mean 500hp but more than 110 and it has allot of torque. i was wondering if i accedently built a H. O. engine.
It runs very smooth, idles great, runs cool *Normal temp
but if you guys have any input i wanna hear it!!!!
I'm a squirley bastard and proud. so shut up JOE!!!!
I seriously doubt it has more than 110 hp
head should be identical IIRC. But what did you use for cam etc that's the better question. Perhaps you're compression is just better then it has been. Doubtful you've got over 110 as well.
Is it just me or is the title of this thread an oxymoron?

Too many fast 2.0's say it's just you.
You could have a little more power, the Tbi heads had slightly bigger valves than the MPFI heads but the multiport head had a better designed combustion chamber so I don't really know if one is better than the other.
