Holla.

What type of gas milage im I looking at on a 1993 v6 Cavalier?

Miles per tank?

Besides the basics (maintenance & driving habits), how did you guys increase this?

Im thinking some MSD products...

i have the smaller tank in my '91 but on the highway i can get about 300 miles to the tank, in the city more like 250 or so. my tank is around 13.6 gallons.. yours should be around 15 gallons.

mine's a 5 speed as well, that helps out a bit. Computer wise, i'm running the stock chip. Internally i've got some mild port work, shaved heads, .040" head gaskets and the basic intake/good exhaust.

Once i install my headers i'm guessing the mileage will drop a bit but atleast gas prices are down a little!

Its in how you drive it.. stay on the gas a lot , high rpms, it'll drink up gas like its going out of style.
I normally average 22 mpg in the city, and almost 30mpg on the highway if i drive sanely. If its summer time and i'm feeling frisky a lot more it drops to about 19 city and 26 highway.
mine is a 5 speed also so my city mileage might be a little lower and highway a little higher.

Hey, I like your sig picture.
My winter beater is a 90 Beretta 3.1L which needs a tune up and has a 3 speed auto.
Its the same config as a cavi .
I get 26-30 out of it consistantly.
Its funny cause at B E S T it gets 2-3 mpg better than My Camaro(ahhh yes the 6 speed).
The best way to increase Mpg is a good tune and mello driving.

Wow I'm jelous of your milage reports. Lately I've been driving a "little" hard and got 19.5 mpg on the last tank. Best I've done recently is 21 mpg. It's mostly highway too but I drive 88 mph. It's a 3.1 auto with tires slightly larger than stock. But hey at $2.12 a gallon, who cares!

for my 1991 Sunbird 2.0 I get about 350 - 380 per tank on the highway and about 300 around town. I average about 29-31 miles per gallon. I wish I knew way to make it more efficient, any suggestions?

400 miles per 15 gallon tank... from full to 1/8th tank less...

2.2 litre AUTOMATIC - THM03

All i have is 3" intake running a K&N filter, exhaust resinator, high flow muffler, and Dayton-Detroit auto shift kit

i clean my throttle body once a year, and run a 2 part fuel system cleaner (Gas tank and then through the the throttle) every 20k Miles...

I got 400 kilometers/248 miles on 44 litres/11.6 gallons of gas on my 3400. Mostly city driving. Wasnt a full tank. My tank size is 52 liters/13.6 gallons

11L/100 km or 22 MPG in the city. That was just the one time that I decided to take it easy on the car. It was hard
