Hey i was wondering what kind of power can be made out of one. Thx for any help can list site that have the parts to build one up thx again
You can make some good heathly power out of the 3.1L Takes quite a bit of engine work though.
If you want to stay with the 3.1L but gain some good power, You can take heads and intake manifolds from the newer 3400 V6 engine and swap those on, put in a good camshaft from Comp cams or Crane cams, and the typical bolt on mods.
Or you can swap in a full 3400 V6 and go from there as well.

why would you bother using the 3.1 top end?
do you just want to have less potential?
the 3400 gets its higher compression from pistions, not heads.......
just rebuild a 3.1 using 3400 top end parts, 9.5:1 pistions, and a nice cam\E-PROM.
