so i finally got my 2.8 swapped in and working now, without problems, so i was wondering about any mods i can do that are cheap and will help the power out, i heard about like 3.1 injectors and all, but which do i use, and ideas will help thanks

2.8/3.1 injectors are the same, cheap easy mods are Under Drive Pulley, Cold Air Intake, and exhaust.

Under Drive Pulley from fast forward performance $120

CAI - u can buy a 92-97 Prelude CAI from ebay and make it fit your car, i made 2 CAI's out of one kit. Under $50

i actually have made the cold air intake allreayd, the underdrive pulleys im looking into, anythign else???

the UD pully, CAI and a good exhaust is about it in the "cheap" mods catigory..

all that and you might get up to the HP of a stock 3.1. I have a vid of my very mild 3.1 5 speed smoking a 2.8 5speed with a full exhaust, UD pully and intake (MajorZ24 on V6z24.com).

what kind of money do you wanna spend?

for about $500 you could toss a 3400 top end on that 2.8 and get another 40 or so HP out of it.. with a $170 cam added into the mix and some port work with headers and you could see the 200+ HP mark.

what all do its take to do the top end swap, since im fianlly getting moeny for myself coming in now,l about all options will be noticed, is there a way to do a turbo on the 2.8???

Heads,upper and lower intake manifolds, manifolds and crossover pipe.Throttlebody and im sure theres more.
