In the back seat i need to know how to take off the back rest. Is there just 2 bolts holding it on or is it 4 . . . what kind are they . . . where are they?

Take off the seat bottom (two bolts in the front). Then you'll see the seat bolt bolts. Those also hold the seat back in place. IIRC, they're a T55 head, and will probably require alot of work to get out if they've never been out before.

i pulled a back seat out yesterday, they were t-45. t55 is way to big, all i know that a t55 is used for is wheel bearings.

i will check it out tomorrow . . .thanks.

Maybe you guys can help me with another problem. I am not sure if i should post this in the audio fourm or not but oh well.
I used to drive a 95 cav and had 2 12inch subs with a 1000 watt amp going to them in that cavalier. So i sold that car and put those subs and amp in my 94 cav and it does not seem that the subs are even connected when you are sitting inside of the car. But when i pop the trunk you can see them going and that they really are connected. Do you guys think this could be from the back seat?

This is why i am going to try to take out the back seat and try to see if thatt makes a difference since in the 95 cavalier the back seats would fold down.

is your deck setup with the subout on??? do you have the rca's hooked up right??? is the level on the deck up??? is the gain, and bassboost up on the amp??? is the filter on the amp set to low pass??? is the crossover set to high on the amp???

Well the rca are connected and the head unit has the sub output on, otherwise the subs would not be even going. But i will check out all my settings later today and post it.

yeah man check all that stuff he was saying cause the seat shouldn't matter that much.... not pushing 500 watts to each speaker.... i was pushing 250 to each 12 and they were crappy speakers and it hit hard... definitely check that stuff before you take your seat out!!

I have a Pioneer DEH-P7700MP head unit and a kenwwod 1000 watt amp. I have no idea what to set the LPF Freq. at or the infrasonic setting and the input sensitivity. I have 2 12inch infinity 1220 reference subs in a sealed box. Any help please

chances are they are wired out of phase, does it look like one sub is going in while one is firing out?
