275hp, I'd assume you are upgrading to a larger turbocharger. The slower spool may help a little with traction. I would be worried with slicks but drag radials shouldn't hurt too badlyat that much power. It is really tough to say because this isn't territory that anybody has played around with as much as they should. As much potential as the turbo birds have, there are only a select few on the site hitting anywhere near that much power.
I'd try your luck on good street tires first. Try doing some mods that will slow down the spool rate of the turbo but add higher over-all HP like an equal length turbo header and the larger turbo and hoepfully your issues wont be too bad.
I have a set of drag radials and a set of slicks laying around but I'm not ballsy enough to throw them on.

You'll be fine. Stock axles compared to many FWD cars (read: Honda) are quite stout. We have "close to equal length" axles too using a intermediate shaft which helps to equalize wheel spin more evenly, splitting the load between them as they grip better. With proper tire pressure settings you should be able to get equal grip on both tires even without an LSD.
You will probobly EVENTUALLY wear them out but I doubt you'll see a catostrophic failure immediatly. Our engines don't have much low end torque till the turbo spools and if you launch off boost, there isn't much strain at all on teh drivetrain.
Even if you do break them they are cheap, and act as a "fuse" to the transmission so it's preferable to have them break.
You won't have any worries, with slicks on stock axles. I ran slicks on my car quite a bit. Never had an issue. That was with 6000 rpm launches on slicks with V6 torque which is what will break an axle not "HP" Still to this day do not understand why people rate their axles for "HP" when horse power is not going to break it. Torque will.

I've been running drag radials without problems on my car for a couple of years now but my car is an automatic. My best 60 ft has been 1.94. In the past I couldn't leave with more than 5 lbs of boost but that may be different since I went to an LSD.
Ned used to run slicks on his car and though his was an automatic too it ran the equivalent of low 12's in 1/8 mile times. I'd say if Colin hasn't exploded one with 6000 RPM launches with a V6 you won't either IMO.
