Whats up guys so much for anot having any problems.....well tonigh on my way home i was trying to pass this guy and i floord it and when it shifted to thrd. chug chug(rocks back and frorth) and the CEL flashes at the car is rocking it stops when i let off the gas. it shifts normaly when goin slow but if im doing 60 and floor it....this hapens.

This is the first time this has ever happend...comment people, i know you all want the car to make it to tx so i can do my DOHC swap

could be the o2 sen. i had that same thing happen to me when i went to pass it had no power or it could be the locking tork canverter if it is auto my 90 z24 would not unlock it to down shift there is a cilanoid in the tran. that does this on the pass.sid of the traney the part is about $75 bucks but not a doit your self thing just a sug. try the o2 first $35 bucks can.

flashing cel almost always means misfire... when was your last tuneup? cap/rotor/wires/plugs?

OK guys i did a complete tune up when i replaced the HG and commprestion is fint timing is on the mark, and i coded it....

O2 sensor, coolant temp too low , adn coolant temp circit and sensor..

so im gonna change the o2 and the thermostat. and cheack the sensor.
