What are some ways to help bring the weight down on 2nd Gens?
Im sure this has use for ppl who race or are concerned with fuel economy (after all, it is an econobox - why not get the most out of it?).

Next,

Trunk carpetting
Rear carpetting
Rear door covers/carpet/panels

rear disc brake conversions save a bunch of weight too, apparently. Take a look through the brakes section, I believe there's some big involved front hybrid swap that utilizes an aluminum knuckle from some bigger car which helps save some weight too, while giving you even better brakes.
