is there a difference in the automatic half shafts and the manual ones??? i need a answer quick thanks
Which year? Which trans? Which engine? Some are interchangeable, other aren't.
sorry james its a 89 z-24 which had the 2.8, i pulled the 2.8 and bolted it up to my manual 5 speed in my 91, so 91 manual, to 89 auto???
The left transaxles are all interchangable among all engines (at least manuals) I looked up on the cross-reference computer at autozone...

Thats why. All the aftermarket ones will fit everything because its cheaper to make one axle that fits everything. The factory axles are different diameters.
