ok so i'm looking around for a HO alternator for my '94 Cavalier 2.2L. when i have my other amplifier hooked up, i will have 135amps of current draw so my 80amp (or whatever it is) stock alternator just isn't going to cut it.
i'm told that the 2.2L engine changed in '94 and was the same until '98.. so if i can't find a high output alternator for a '94 2.2L will a HO alt for a '95 or '96 also fit?
the page i was looking at was for Motor City Reman

so i'm not sure which one would fit my '94 2.2L, there's one there that says "87-'93 Beretta/Cavalier 2.0/2.2L" but it wouldnt be that one right, cause its 87-93..
the only other 160amp one that i see is " '95-96 Cavalier / sunfire 2.2L 160amp", would this '95 one fit?
i've been looking at the Iraggi's, but they are crazy expensive and in case i go with a 3400 swap in a couple of years i wont be out so much money. would a 160amp alternator be good enough for my 135amps of current draw from my amplifiers? i dont have a/c, so the only other things would be lights, heater, wipers, etc.
thanks guys i appreciate any input.

Any alternator made for a 95 will fit. Most places list things based on vehicle year, even if the engine was the same from 92-97. If you're ever looking for stuff for a 92-94 2.2, always look it up for a 95, you'll get everything that way, and most (not all) of it will work.
