My moms name is on the title of my ga and she don't want me to strip it....so what is the cheapest and easiest swap 4 or 6 cyl.....i was thinkin about a 2.3 quad 4? I have the 5 speed tranny out of a 91 beretta gt with a 3.1??? so kinda wanna engine that will bolt to that don't know if the quad 4 will or not does anyone....plus if i could find a w41 that would be awesome

The following V6s will drop in with minimal modification (fuel lines, motor mounts)

2.8 V6
3.1 V6
3100 V6
3400 V6 (bit more work)

Of course you can also do a turbo 4 banger (if you are lucky enough to find a sunbird gt) or the quad 4 from a beretta....

The MG2 trans you have will not bolt to the 2.3, 2.0OHC, or 2.0OHC turbo. It will only bolt to the 2.2OHV, 2.8, 3.1, 3100, and 3400. I think you're best bet is to drop in a 3.1, since you want cheap and easy. The 3400 would be my next choice, but it requires more work and money.

I like the quad 4 i had one in my 89 ga.....so what year beretta does it need to be for the best fit in my bird......will the axles need swapped over to the beretta axles or are they pretty much the same.....what all would need to be custom for this swap??? any one have it done...lata

you would need to weld the tranny mount in, and the wiring harness is 100% custom. people have done it, its not that easy of a swap.
