Hey fellas, its been awhile since I have posted har. I own a 88 vin K Skyhawk and I Hit an island in some hard fog the other day and slightly bent my oil pan / trans pan. Was driving a few days later it started to shift real hard. Opened the transpan and inspected. Seems like no damage. Done a transmission fluid and filter change. Still runs hard. Its faster but winds up too much before shifting, 250k on the trans. Checked the TV cable as well. It looks fine. My question is if there is a transducer of some sort that is an easy fix. Hope somebody can help. Thanks mang.
I love my hooptie
I've done that before when I was young and 16 hit a island and bent the crap out of my trans pan, mine ended up being fluid leaked out and didn't know it till the next day which caused my trans to shift real hard. I just got a new pan/gasket and it was fine since then.
**changes are here**
yeah, I straghten mine out and did a new gasket and filter. Still does it. Oh well. Time for a rebuilt trans. I love this car. Its so damn reliable. Most reliable car I have ever owned.
