has anyone ever built a 80s style tuned 2nd gen or 2st gen? i love the way they build old skool supras and rx-7's if you dont know what im talking about let me explain from what i know....alright in the 80s mesh wheels were supposibly all the craze but ive seen a couple with stockers but they were polisdhed.. and there wasnt much companies into it yet so lots of the mods are top notch from big companies like HKS and such but iuno if its the same for cavs...anyways there wasnt very much done to the exterior the cars were built for speed...i can get pics of car i think if u need them...i just think it would be kool to have a ol skool style cavalier

There are quite a few all performance 2nd gens (no exterior mods, just drivetrain, suspension stuff). I'm not sure if thats what you're looking for.....
i dunno if my car fits the bill, but its little show, mostly go. its shaved, lowered, 17" wheels, wing and valance from an 87, 87 hood. interior is pretty much stock looking other than the racing seats and gauges. motor is full performance built, custom headers, dual exaust, stage 2 clutch. it has kyb gr2 struts, sprint springs, addco swaybars, urethane bushings, 92+ brakes with slotted rotors. here is a pic.

uhm...doubt mine counts...but im just not sure what your lookin for.
its really hard to explain ill just have to find pictures...but basically old skool tuning was....hmm...mesh wheels....polished engine.....clean interior...and its more of a look where it looks like all u did was slap on rims and a exaust....its hard to explain ill find pics and make a sketch of what i want to do lol
