So, I'm sick of having the crappy base cluster in my Cavalier. Who makes a 5 speed with no tach?? Stupid! Anyway, I found this
I've got a Haynes manual so I have a wiring diagram that I can sort most of the connections out with. The only thing I really need to know is where the tach. signal will come from. I'm pretty sure I will have to change the coolant temp. sensor and also the oil pressure switch, but is there anything else involved that I'm missing?? As far as fitting the cluster, I'm sure it can be done but I may convert to tilt steering at the same time. Anyway, suggestions or comments welcome and appreciated.
