JBP is overpriced, and most of their stuff is available at any one of the aftermarket suppliers for about half the cost. Does it seem too high? Yes. Does it seem too high for JBP, not at all, I would have expected higher.

They have a niche market, and most fo the time, no one does any research before they buy from them, which is too bad. Many of their so called "custom" parts are poorly engineered and constructed, yet they cost more than most of the name brand stuff on ebay.

They rate right up there with Mantapart in my book. I guess they're shop work is decent, but all their "off the shelf" parts are pretty poor. The two things I ever bought from them were not worth the money I paid at all, and not as advertised, and they didn't want to take them on a return, claiming that the parts were exactly as described.

you can buy a REAL HID kit on ebay for 150usd.... an oem
quality kit removed from a Cadillac. Half the HID retrofit in
my Jeep Cherokee is courtesy of an SRX.

even 37usd is too much for what is essentially - a painted
bulb with lower than stock light output.
