Leaving J Body

well I guess Im gonna be leaving J Bodys alone. Im getting tired of not being able to find what I want for these cars. Im sending my 92 Sunbird to the crushers
should get about 200.00 for it. I dont care that it only has 600 miles on it sence the rebuild Im tired of it. Im getting a Mitsubishi Eclipes GSX. Now theres a car worth fixing and theres plenty of parts for them.So my car goes to the crusher in 2 weeks.

Sending to the crushers? Send me an email. Maybe you have a few parts that I'm looking for?

why not keep it just incase your GSX breaks down.. you do know they are one of the worst cars to keep on the road for a long time(meaning they break down alot)... just my 2 cents

when i think of eclipse, i think of "see crank. see crank walk. walk crank walk". i gotta agree, they are not that great for reliability, nor are they cheap to fix. may wanna keep a backup car.

Hey man I feel ya.... I am going to leave soon too! I have two J's, one is my every day and its the 2.2L with a bunch of bolt ons and stuff and its still like the slowest car in town, I get walked by civic CXs (single cam non- vetec) With intake and a muffler, i have way more then that!! Lol I love my car but it just doesnt have much potential! I Have a nother one with no motor that I am holding on to and eventially putting a small block 350 in it!! But when i graduate from UTI I am going to buy a WRX Sti, boosted its the only way to go!!

good luck man. I sold my sunbird for some of the very same
reasons: it was a fun car with very little aftermarket love... It's
also one of the biggest reasons I like my Jeep... there's no
shortage of AFFORDABLE aftermarket parts via retailers and
ebay.

Having said that, I wish you even more luck with the GSX...
it's like you're moving from a car with impossible-to-find parts
to a car with impossible-repair-bills.

there not as bad as everybody says the funny thing is that the 1st gen Mitsu Gsx are more reliable then the 2nd gen but Im a mechanic so it would be hard to charge myself. but the good thing is I coan afford myself
