My friend just bought 90 cavalier spd 2.2L, Hes having a problem with slave cyl, My question is looks like the unit near the transmission and the unit located on the firewall with a Resviore clutch fluid goes, I am wording if that all one unit together, Cause the plastic line that runs to each unit has no, Signs of disconnecting that line? My friends is wornout, It needs to be replaced, Just wondering if anyone has Replaced this part before.

There is a pin that runs through it at the bottom, I know you have to take this out. I bought a new master cylinder and a slave cylinder when I did my 5spd swap... I attempted to get that plastic line from the junkyard... after staring at it long and hard for a little while, I just took the whole assembly and through it in my car... now I have used parts installed in the car and fresh parts sitting on the shelf collecting dust.

It is deffinately possible, I just couldn't get the pin out and I am lazy.
