anyone had enough balls to try this yet? i started cuttin my old sh*t out and been takin measurements any one have a shortcut or two?

get a s-10 frame and cut the z body up and put it on the s-10 frame.

(teamzerobird) If you cut out the floor, put it on the s-10 frame, wont the frame rails be so far in the interior that your head will hit the roof? I seriously thought about this swap but I couldnt picture how the frame rails would fit up in there. The other option was to go to www.cachassisworks.com and buy a complete ladder bar frame kit. I almost did it but decided to go for the 3400 swap in my thir gen for now.

If you want the v-8 in something get an s-10, its going to be cheaper and easier than the cav swap. I can tell you its a rediculous fast combo too. I have one. 87 s-10 406ci, edelbrock EFI, 5-spd. Every one should own one of these.
