I wonder If anyone can help me decipher my scan tool readings off my 94 Cavalier (OBD1). I just went out and bought an Auto XRay EZ Scan5000. Its a very cool tool, (toy). It gives you alot of info, and I have been going crazy trying to school myself (Off the net) about deciphering these readings. I have an understanding on some of them, but there are some that rattle me! (I can see why mechanics go to schools to learn all this rocket science) Lol! And the funny thing is my car is running great! (As far as I am concerned) No codes. But looking at some of these numbers you truly wonder, Is that really working the way it should be working? I am putting alot of energy into learning these things, I could really use someones help, Who knows what I should be concerning myself with as far as this. I can send an EMail of a scan from my yahoo with an attatchment of my complete scan. I do have a subscription to Alldata DIY. It clears things up to a point, but when they talk about a scan tool they talk about the original GM scan tool by Vertronix (I believe) Now that scan tool does everything but wash the kitchen sink, ABS, Transmission, advanced parameters, etc, In some cases you do get what you pay for!
