hi.
from what i am reading, i've learned that the 2.2L engine in my '94 Cavalier is the same engine used from '94 thru till '97 in the Cavaliers (before the 2200 was introduced)..
my question is, is the cooling system in my '94 different than the 95-97's? i am interested because i am wondering if this will fit my radiator

sorry for the ebay link, if it is against the rules let me know and i will get rid of it.. anyway it is for a 95 to 97, i know the engines are the same but i am unsure of the cooling system setup as i've never really looked at a 95-97 under the hood to compare to mine.
i'd post a pic of my engine, but i learned the hard way about doing that.
i am working on detailing my engine (previous owners obviously never ever cleaned the engine in the 12 years before i aquired it) and i showed a pic of before i started. anyway that is beside the point. i figure with a few more heavy duty degreasing treatments, some VHT paint, some more "back to black" (works amazing on the black plastic pieces under the hood!) and alot more elbow grease i can have the engine bay looking alot better.
the rad hoses to match my spark plug wires would be a nice finishing touch if they will fit!!!
thanks so much, (for positive replies)

No they won't. 3rd gens use a pressurized tank, 2nd gen 2.2s don't.
what a long post to be answered in such a short statement
lol... yeah
it is definately too bad they would not fit
ah well i still have alot of cleaning to do yet anyway.. i'm sure there's other things than just my new plug wires that i can use to dress up under the hood a little bit, i just gotta keep my eyes open heh.
thanks for the reply!
