CV BOOT?

the cv boot has a hole just wondering if i can put duck tape around it until i get it fix saturday. its the boot more close to the wheel on the pass side . how would i know if damage is already done any sypmtoms to look for.going threw a couple of problems with whip now.

yeah I've done the duck tape but make sure you get it fixed asap, that duck tape is very temporary. the damage symptoms is it starting to make alot of noise. but if you lost very little grease then I woun't worry about it.

i reading at a site that when its bad it shakes at high speeds and thats what mines was doing at 60 it would start shaking from. but i thought it was my strut

Try windshield adhesive. duct tape won't hold up against grease very long. Make sure the boot is clean first, use brakelene and a rag to clean the boot.
