I finally released my car domain page to public viewing. It's not done and I caught a few typos rereading it tonight but if I wait till it's finished I'll be too old to drive anymore! If anything on there helps anyone from making the same dumb mistakes I did it's worth it. Right now it stops about a year ago.
I know my car is a first Gen but it seems there are more sunbird turbo owners in this forum so I posted this here.

Geez... Keep it down, wouldja ?? Once upon a time, if you owned a GN, you could sneak up on anyone. Nowadays people are so tuned in to the black 80's monsters that it's impossible to go for a ride in one without an Acura or Subaru trying to race. Do you want the 'bird to become the same way???
Tony, your car looks like it's speeding just sitting still. I can't even park my car next to it without feeling like I need to up the boost.
-->Slow
that would never happen. grand nationals are easily recognised, and they were all fast cars. now, sunbirds are easy to recognise, but its not like you can tell if its got an n/a 2l or a turbo motor.
mine is still stamped with turbo gt.................mind ya......alot of people come from behind with a smile because they see a sunbird.......funny thing is.......they stay behind me from then on........
Nowadays I don't assume anything is fast or slow anymore. I just wait and see.
I went to the NOPI drags on Sunday and man, some of those little heaps fly! I don't care if they run on rice, gas, diesel fuel or magic beans, fast is fast!
I wish my car ran like some of them! Someday.....
