Hey all,

I need some help in getting a swap finished: My Sons 91 Cavi 2.2 finally craped out last fall, I had already purchased an '89 Z24 from a co-worker for $125.00, the car was hit pretty hard in the front and basically everthing forward of the engine was wipped out. I've been accumulating parts to a point where I 'm down to the last few details. One is the heater line that runs from the right front of the engine; is there a hard pipe that runs from the front back to the heater core and which direction does it go? another is where does the speedo cable come out through the firewall? and the in the grill area, how do the headlights mount (The buckets were crushed)? I could use a few detailed pics of the engine bay and the grill area.

I also need some parts to finish up if anyone has them available:

Front motor mount bracket for Auto Trans (Aluminum one) has P/N 14089770.
Transmission Mount Bracket for Auto Trans (Big Black One) has P/N 10093288
A/C Lines from Compressor to condensor
A/C Condensor
Left And Right Headlight Buckets
Console bezel with shift selector
Heater pipe from Right Front to where ever it goes.
Air Cleaner canister with lid and the Air temp Sensor

the hard pipe form the coolant tank to the heater core TRASH IT just get some new tubing or coolent hose

the speedo cable comes out near the master cylinder I beleive I did mine a few years ago

the headlights actually mount tot he big black plastic (maybe fiberglass) housing that runs the entire forn tof the engine bay

Thanks for the Info, One question though. Which way do you route the hose to the heater pipe, Accross the front of the engine or down the right side.

By head light buckets do you mean the whole headlight? If so I have a set from my 88z24 that died on me last year, aswell as the tail lights and the body kit. wow. what happened to the american heritage behind that z24 emblem? any gm parts dealership will have exploded diagrams of just about any part of the car.
