what could cause my 92 Pontiac sunbird 2.0 to do this
any help will be appreceated
sounds like a bad fuel pump cant keep fuel pressure up?
maybe even something as easy as a bad fuel pressure regulator......
thats what I was thinking thanks
ah get one of those damn fuel pressure gauge things and then measure it from there. i dont think the pump is a problem because when i backed off a ledge unto my fuel pump it worked fine but the car basically redlined at 3K RPM. you should check out the pressure regulator to see if the vacum is hooked up to it and to see if the vacum is hooked up to the manifold.well, the service manual doesn't really display a troubleshoot symptom for car idles but shuts down after slight acceleration.
