My '90 Sunbird turbo keeps popping the fuse to the ecm (the one that is on switched power, not the constant hot one). Every time I turn the switch on it blows with a loud pop. It started by blowing the 10 amp ecm fuse last week, so I stuck my only spare in (25 amp) and it blew again day before yesterday. I got the right size fuse and stuck in it, and it lasted until this morning, and ever since then it will pop a fuse every time I turn the ignition on, even a 30 amp I stuck in to test it. Does anyone have any advice on this or experience with this problem? I would appreciate any help I can get with fixing it.
Have you tried disconnecting the Ignition Coil?-then testing again.
From my info the fuse feeds that, then on to the tacho filter, then the tach.
It may be the ignition coil on it's way out

Well, please ignore the last post.
Do you mean the 10Amp fuse that supplies:-
1. The brake switch and on to TCC solenoid
2. Upshift Indicator
3. Tachometer
If so, you could disconnect the TCC Solenoid as it is fairly easy to access and see if the 10 Amp fuse stays intact. (Only use a 10 Amp fuse in case you burn any wiring)

I'll give that a shot. Thanks.
