My poor little wagon is running rough...it's looking like I'm going to spend a few bucks on parts...
She is a few miles short of 140,000 ......
Been doing updates as parts are going.....
Any things/ ideas of things I should do to the Cav at this point? Things you guys have done?
My thinking is that she is going to need a few fuel related parts, possiblibly a new sensor or two.
Things I'm looking at the moment:
New hose to rad/ new EGR/ air idle control vavle...
I'm open to ideas......

replaced about 10k miles ago...could it be time for a new one?
Not likely, but it does happen that it could be faulty. I wouldn't bother again unless they are cheap.
i don't have the 3.1 but my logic says regular tune-up stuff and maybe a fuel filter, check mounts... check your muffler hanger.... all i can think of...
The mounts idea has me wondering...
The idle in the car is quite rough, especially after she has warmed up...
She doesn't have that issue while cold.
I still wonder is it is fuel related, or a possible sensor.
I've replaced the MAP sensor, the o2, fuel filter....
The other thing I"ve noticed is that if I change speeds (stop and go/or a quick slowdown) it throws the
check engine light. Sometimes it stays on until the car is off-other times it is off in a couple of minutes...
I've tried to check the codes recently, but when it happens, I never am around a scanner...

borrow one and keep it in the car..
do our car computers have a memory or do you have to scan it while its saying check engine?
the computer will store teh code(s) until u disconnect the battery, heres a howto on checking codes
http://www.v6z24.com/howto/codes
FDP 62MM TB, FFP Performance Chip, FFP Underdrive Pully, WAI, Hi Flow Cat, 2.5" Catback, Functional Ram Air Hood, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
I might have to do just that.
I think I can borrow one some where....
I was reading that how to....and thinking about doing it....can't hurt to give it a shot....
Other than those problems above, the wagon seems to be doing ok....
Gas milage is even up...
shoot, i wish i checked this out before i decided to remove my steering column... lol
o well, i'll check it after i put a new one in
always nice to read about other wagons out there.
looks as though you've got most of your stuff covered. regular upkeep should keep the car doing alright...generally. plugs, wires, hoses, belt, filters, fluids...
thermostat, coolant cap & related sensors are also a good idea.
take a look at any unchanged mounts, bushings, shocks. these are things that go to toast after as many years and miles as our cars have, now. rear shocks tend to burn up pretty nicely, especially on wagons. mine were soooooo dead when i got my wagon. they had about 107k on 'em at the time.
Have you seen the turbo wagon?
13.90 @ 105.46mph
street tires
rough tune

Expect hoses, replaced most of that...though I think I'm due...
So replacing the sensors...not a bad idea?
Shocks and struts..done...though I'm never buying sensa-trac (monroes) ever again....
