I have a 3.1L Sunbird as winter car, i got towork today and shut it off and all coolant poured out from around the firewall area on the ground. What would cause this? I gotta look at it 2morrow i got it back home on a trailor today.
Also when i pour more in the coolant bottle it comes right out.
Any help?

you ruptured a hose.
get it replaced.
preventative maintenance would be to replace any other hoses in your cooling system that have a "softness" to them..
i'm sure somebody more learned in techniques and procedures will come in this thread and clarify..
Im hoping its just a hose, dunno what else i dont think heater core.
But my luck it will be expensive.
