i changed my ball joints, outer tie rod.also had the control arm bushing but mechanic said it was good so i didnt need tp change it.but everytime i cut the wheel to the left and back up i hear a noise that sounds like a snap dont know if its strut mounts because i always hear a squeaking noise.but that snapping noise happens on the passenger side.i was wonder can a bad strut mount cause this. thanks

Your strut mounts have bearings inside of them. When the bearing opens and you lose a ball or two (happens a lot when you do suspension work) after you reasemble it, it will sound like te spring is snapping over and over agian while you turn the wheel. You may only hear it at low speeds.

That sounds more like a CV joint. Check all of your CV joints to make sure there are no tears. If all of the boots are fine, check the strut mounts. That is where I would start.

thamks for the info.took the car to the mechanic and found the screws were loose.i guess where the mount is cause he put the car on the lift and tighten some screws where the strut is and it was good
