Back from the Grave - PICS of the 93 VL

i forgot my camera when i went to freak show... and on the way out i hit a dip and cracked the mold on the front end and the pass fender... ... so these are the only pics i have for now

on further inspection of my throttle body sensors... all the plugs are different... except two... there is one for the sensor that doesnt have to bolt directly to the throttle body as it has 3 or 4 (i wanna say 3 though) vaccum lines to it... i have two plugs that would fit it... one off the throttle body and the other comes from the master wire loom on the driver side near the PCM...

interesingly enough, if i use the one coming off throttle body, if i try to accelerate hard, after about 3000 RPMS the motor quit accelerating... its the EXACT same feeling as if i took my 2000 Z24 up to 109 MPH... the motor is still running... but its not accelerating... its acting like a governor is kicking in... ---- but if i leave it unplugged or plug the plug from the PCM in ... it works fine... the only thing i can assume is when i got my new wiring harness... the car before had cruise control and i do not ... i cant think of anything else the extra plug could go to...

i also found if i put vaccum on the EGR... the car stalls within 15 seconds of doing so and will not stay started... leading me to think the EGR itself is bad...

anyway... now the car will go back in the garage ... so i can finish the body work, and for once have it painted in April ... like i say i will every year...

By the way... the hinge i used to do the hood was an actual BMW E30 hinge ... it ran me about $80 US from the BMW dealer...
