It maybe the air passage through heater core blocked with dust/debris.

Mine was almost completely blocked off, you can usually get access to it from the hole left when you remove the blower motor.

You can use a soft brush or even a shop vac---- carefully.

Other people have had this problem, the posts may be quite a long way back.

My airflow was really a blast after cleaning.

Yes, just be careful you don't damage the core.

Actually the core you can see is the A/C evaporator, the heater core is behind that but it's the evap core that gets blocked('cos it's first in line after the blower)

Great to hear you fixed it---now it's working "As Advertised"--may also help someone else.

I just did this on one of my 94s, and even though I didnt do what I thought was a very good job cleaning... it was still a night and day difference. I wanted more room than just the blower motor hole gave me, so I took all the top and first bottom bolt from each side of the whole heater box out. Then I took a bungee cord and pulled the box out far enough to work in there. Plenty of room to get in with a shop vac and a stiff brustle toothbrush.

Good post here, this was very helpful!

under the hood on the passanger side,i think there are 5 7mm bolts holdin it in,if you have a strut bar you will have to remove that and pull the alternator off and your off to the races,if its the V6,well GL
