You would need AT LEAST the head to do the swap as well.
I have two sets of turbos/manifold around as well as one complete turbo engine sort block. I also have a set of the forged turbo pistons and an intake manifold converted to use a Quad 4 throttlebody. Might have other stuff you want as well... Basically I can give you everything you need but a cylinder head. If you're auto, I even have a computer for you. Buy my stuff!

everything is different in those motor. yes the heads are the same, but the valves are different. the pisons are forged low compression in the turbo motor. the turbo motor has a better crank and even the block is stronger. you are gonna have a way more reliable motor if you find a complete 2.0l turbo, rather than try to convert an n/a.

Ehhh.. I read the 2.0faq wrong way back when.

If you can supply your head, I have two full spair sets of 2.0 turbo valvetrains I could swap into it, as well as a complete 2.0 turbo bottom end, just needs your oil pan and a headgasket/bolts and you've got a full 2.0 turbo engine. Have two manifolds, two turbos, down-elbow, automatic computer... whatever you need.

Hey M.I.N.I.O.N, do you still have the downpipe for the 2.0 turbo? I have been looking for one for a while now. Can never seem to get my hands on one. It's the pipe that goes from the turbo to the catalytic converter, correct? If you still have it, would you mind selling it to me? Send me an email with price/shipping info. Thanks, Paul Moore

Trying to become the most modded out N/A 2nd gen sunbird 4 cylinder on the org with a..... screw that, I'm going turbo!!!

2.Slow OHC I4
Ported cylinder head, intake and exhaust
Relocated IAT with a custom WAI with a 6x9 K&N conical filter
All this, and I still can't go fast.............yet!!

There are a billion posts about this I've replied too. You want to do an engine swap, and tranny swap (trans for the n/a is weaker and has crappy ratios). Which means you are better off buying a complete sunbird turbo since you also would get teh upgraded exterior, interior, suspension, and braking too. It isn't worth screwing around with a base model. There are way to many things different between engines and the cars to consider.

I've got almost the same thing im doing, 2.0 non-turbo 89 sunbird TBI OHC, im coverting it to turbo, im just using the 2.0 turbo exhaust manifold, downpipe, converting it to MPFI, ect. but not too many bottom end modifications, do you know if a crank will fit from a 2.0 turbo as well, to be a lil better, what else should i do for a better motor, i plan on using a garrett T3/T4 turbo, i also already have 0.030 pistons for it, but it isnt bored out yet, will these be fine with all the boost, their stock replacement clivette pistons, hope you can help, thanks
