ok, so, the main line from the ebrake to the back is fine, and each line coming fron the rear brakes are fine, but theres this tiny f'n piece of metal that holds the main line to the line on the drivers rear ebrake cable is comepletly gone. rusted away. ive gone to every parts store i can think of trying to find that piece. no luck, even the dealership doesnt have it. ive tried orderingeach ebrake cable in hopes of getting that piece, again, no luck.
so my question is, does anyone have any idea on what i can do to get the damn thing to work? im thinking about just throwing in a piece of steel or something and just welding it together.
any ideas would be helpful.
forgot to mention, the car is a 92 Cavalier.
Get an e-brake cable from any 2nd gen in a junkyard...
not the cable, just that metal piece, ive got all 3 cables already
