1993 Z24 Exhaust
Saturday, February 10, 2007 10:59 AM
I have a 93 z24 5spd with the 3.1 and i am wanting to switch out the muffler with a Borla Pro XS but i am not changing anything else on the exhaust. I am not looking for any gained performance but i am looking for a bit more sound, i dont like quite cars so i would like it to be a bit louder. I have a borla cat-back on my 2001 Eclipse GT and i love how it sounds. But anyway i am wanting to know what size is the stock exhaust pipe going into the muffler and which kind of muffler fits the best (offset-offset , center-offset , offset-center , center-center). thanks for any advise

if i remember correctly the stock piping is 1 and 7/8 inches or 2 inches. and as for mufflers, try to get either offset/center or center/center. hope this helps. and good choice by the way, borla mufflers are a great product and they have really nice deep sound. glad to see u investing in a quality product instead of that cheap ebay b.s.
