Idle air control valve.

I need all the info I can get on it....


93 Cav, 3.1, 140,000 miles..


I'm replacing the IAC, fuel filter, PCV valve.....

I"m trying to get rid of a few things..

- SUV mpgs (again)

- Rough idle (worst in warm weather/once warmed up)

- Lack of pick up


A coming down from a higher speed will usually throw the check engine light on....will come off and on..


Replaced MAP sensor, EGR just cleaned-same problem...

Pull codes before throwing parts at it.

When I do get codes, most of time it is the IAC. Though I've noticed it will throw codes of other stuff too....doesn't help much.
