alright i have a 2.0 OHC with 5 speed coming out and a 2.2 with 5sp going in all in a 94 sunbird 2.2 5sp is outa 93 cav 4 door

got some questions all i have left is to unbolt the computer wiring harness pull it through then hopefully pull the motor but!! yes but i was wondering if the axles will just slide out of the tranns as its going up or if i have to take more stuff apart other than motor mounts?

a link to maybe a whole tear down how to would be nice if there is such a thing

and i got the 4door cav for free so dont rag out me to do a 3x00 swap lol i deal with what i can since my dodge ram drinks my money for gas and this car is hopefuly guna stop that lol

but ya just need to know if i need to take the strut towers apart or not to alow for play in the axles or if the joints will give it enough play and im pretty sure both cars have the same trany probly not but who knows im guna try and use the original sunbird axles

You need to pull the axles out of the trans if you're pulling it out through the top. The strut towers don't come apart.....

The cars don't have the same trans, they're totally different. Go to www.v6z24.com and look at the FAQ in the Suspension forum. Find the part # listing and compare axle part numbers to see if they're the same. IIRC, they should work, but just make sure.
