I am lucky to squeeze 14 years out of my cat?

My 93 Cav wagon (140k) has had idle and pick up issues. It seems at times to struggle to get up to speed.

Replaced some parts already (fuel filter, map sensor, replacing pcv next week...)

Only helps a bit. Gas milage is down again.


I'm sure it seen some crappy gas....so I thinking the the Cat has had it.


Would I be right? About how much do they run?

I would also replace your spark plugs if you haven't already every 40k miles or so, also check the gap for the plugs be sure its correct.

I did changed the plugs and wires a while back...at around 125k.

THough it was a few years ago...
