for a 2.2 the rear motor mount that is more or less right behind the EGR valve? some peopel think its the upper trans mounth some people say its the rear motor mounth. this is on a 1990 cavalier 2.2 any ideas for sure?

rear motor mount is right behind the belts...it can be reached from the control arm well on the passenger side...
you have 4 (some years have 5) mounts.
-front mount-passenger side by rad
-rear mount- passenger side by firewall
-upper trans mount- driver side on top of the tranny
-lower trans mount/dogbone- driver side by rad, bolts from trans to subframe
-torque arm- behind the tranny by the firewall, bolts to the passenger side subframe and the drivers side of the tranny (automatics only, not all years)

hell yeah.. so from what your talking about its the upper trans mount.. more or less its on the rear of the engine kinda behind the EGR valve if yoru looking on the front.. I got it. thanks a million.
