hey guys, I need 3 parts from the above tranny, or a complete tranny if the price is right and you are close by. Its the 1st gear needle bearing, thrust bearing, and thrust washer that are on the output shaft right behind the pinion gear. These must be from a 3.61 output shaft, as the 3.94 uses a different sized needle bearing, and thrust bearing/washer combo. These parts have been discontinued by GM, apparently 2 of the 3 are still available, but they are useless without the 3rd piece. So if anyone has a junk 3.61 tranny, in parts or whole laying around, please email me at rodfranko@hotmail.com. Please keep in mind these parts were only worth $25. thanks

Sure... but buying them from GM doesn't require someone to disassemble a transmission to get them.

You might look up Transtech on the web. They sell parts for many auto and manual trannies.

thanks, I ended up finding a cheap tranny near by, and then I ordered the rest from a GM dealer in the states.
