I'm trying to figure out wich 2nd gens came with the quad 4 HO motors, I'm looking for an intake manifold of off one for my LD9, and the only thing I can think of is to scavange junk yards where I live, or see if you can still get them from GM. In order to do this, I need to know what cars to look for, can anyone help.

No 2nd gen J came with a Quad 4...3rd gens had em, Berettas had em, but no 2nd jen...all we had was 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 i4s and 2.8 and 3.1 v6s...

as stated, no j-bodies ever had a quad 4. you will need to look for a beretta, achive sc or scx, grand am, cutlass supreme. you also will want a high output quad 4 for the intake. the idi cover will say "high output" on it, or if its missing, look at the vin number, the 8th digit will be "A" if its a high output ("D" is a non HO)

Thanx guys, I remember someone here with one in a 2nd gen cavy (I had a sunbird when I joined), he must have put it in there somehow, thats why I was thinking they came with em.

The LG0 swap is actually simpler than the L67 swap, since most of the factory 2.3L Beretta parts will work. As for vehicles that came factory with an LG0:
