Just a question to anyone who has done performance upgrades to to 3.1L t engine.
I'm looking at a Melling cam set, Summit tells me it will run fine with stock PCM and injectors.
Just wanted to know if anyone has done a cam upgrade and what you actually had to add around it.....PCM chip, injectors intake, exhaust, ect?
And does it still meet emissions standards? I've got an engine on a stand just waiting to figure out what I need before i start to order parts. Thanks for any help.

the cam upgrade is pretty much worthless without a good flowing set of heads...


but check out the Crane H260-2, very popular cam and makes great power with a good top end.

does that cam set still work with stock PCM and injectors or will I need to look at upgrades there too? Just want to know what I need befor I go to start it and find out the hard way I still need to order parts...
