I am trying to get my new to me 91 Z-24 back into good looking Shape currently the Engine is in fair shape the engine was rebuilt at about 83,000 (at least thats what the paper work says) is currently at about 114,000 purchased at an auction for a steal of a price $200 but the interior is destroyed there was a hole in the roof(now covered by a custom sunroof) a huge dent in my passenger rear 1/4 panel a hole in the front bumper(including air dam Damage and Damage to lighting mounts) Along with a bunch of electrical and Gauge issues. Surprisingly the Paint and Original Rims are in great shape if you don't count Brake dust and fluid on the Rims and a need for a new clear coat in the Near future so now that I have replaced my suspension Did My tune up put in Full Synthetic Oil and will be Replacing my Front lighting mount Tomorrow I am looking for advise(how to, known snags and issues like where to find parts and what it might cost)in the following Tasks:
1. Swap Auto for Manual Tranny
2. Replace Center Console and Cup Holder(A/C Control, Stereo Mounts)
3. Rewire Cruise Control
4. Apply New Leather or Vinyl to Dash
5. Replace Headliner
6. Reupholster Interior(Seats, Carpet & Doors)
7. Pull Side Dent and Fix Front Bumper
8. Replace Driver side Window Motor
9. Replace power lock Actuators
If anyone Can Help I would greatly Appreciate it
Auto to manual swap...search either the performance or transmission forums. Has been discussed MANY times.
Reupholstering/restoring the dash? Easier/cheaper to find a good set in a boneyard. Shoot for black if you're changing everything anyway.

before you replace the actuators... make sure the weather stripping on the outside of the window isnt dry rotted... if it is... replace it...
when it starts dry rotting and cracking it will let in moisture and that will damage the actuators... (ive lost a set of power locks (before i shaved handles) and 2 sets of shaved handle poppers because of this...)
in Response to Extreme Delusions I am in the Market for new outer Window Belts for both passanger and driver side doors but have had no luck locating any

Get the weatherproof actuators off FBIRIDES.com They are cheaper and better than the @!#$ty autoloc acutators. autoloc is garbage
