Ok i pulled the head off of my 94 2.2, cause i thought the HG was toast, i have a bent valve on cyl No.3 nothing wrong with the others and the pistons are ok.
Should i just get the valve's replaced and new guides installed?
That is what I would do. Of course I would also make sure to get the head checked as well, and I would also try to determine what caused the valve to bend before I put everything back together if I were in your place.
10 bucks says it floated a valve due to a weak spring!

i'd replace that piston as well.. if it hit the valve then who knows what kind of damage was done.
I wouldnt go and start replacing that yet just take a good look at that piston. I bent all 8 of my valves about a year ago and i replaced the headbut not the pistons and i havent had any problems at all.

Yea the bottom end is ok i checked everything out.
Well scince the head is off, u can go to the salvage yard and get another head and port it. It will help perfomance wise what ever you decide to do later on. And u can get the s.s. Undercut valves thats what i did.

The old head had a crappy P&P my friend did, im getting a rebuilt head for 135.00 and a friend who owns a shop said he would hook me up
I picked up my ss valves from karo at carcustoms and they were 100us at the time. You just have to use the springs retaners and locks from a 95 or newer head, and presto its all good!
