i know the Z's have fiberglass hoods , but not sure if all of the sec. gen cav's have glass hoods. im askin cuz im looking into gettin a 88 Wagon that im going to put Z parts on. wheels, front seats, hood,grill ect.

Correct, and yes, they are a direct swap. You'll need the Z24 airbox if you want the cowl induction to work.
