It's with heart-felt regret that JBP is slowly discontinuing its line-up of 2nd gen products and services
How can they have heart-felt regret when their stuff is crap anyways? They were never willing to develop anything new for the 2nd gen, and never wanted to revise anything they already had. Worse yet, they charged an arm and a leg for everything. Good riddance. I won't miss them. Too bad Mantapart won't do the same thing.
I wonder what they'll change their name to now.
i purchased 1 thing from them.. it was the last thing.. never will i do business with them again.. well looks like I won't have a choice now anyway.
**changes are here**
not done biz with them or mantapart....
both that bad huh?
ok who has good performance stuff for 2nd gens then.... mainly 3.1 v-6....
mantapart has ported cast manifolds for exhaust that seem like a good thing....are they not?

No one. Theres a couple guys who do it on the side, but nothing mainstream.
And yes, both Manta and JBP suck.

what are you looking for? I do alot of gen II/III cylinder head porting, and have done headers before for some people.

I've heard atlot of stories.I was told for the short throw shifters, all they do is take factory shifters, cut them down, and re-paint them. Now what a waste of money

RS2NV I have some ? about port and polishing 2nd generation heads. Could you e-mail me at gerrshep@aol.com so I could talk to you and try and get some answers to my ?'s.
Thanks
I thought the headers they made for the Cavalier look SWEET.....problem was that they cost something like $1300?
If you're gonna charge that much money for ANYTHING I'm pretty sure you would want to justify that cost with some dyno #'s.
The kool factor was up there but i'm sure the HP factor wasn't.
Pretty sad when I bought an OBX SS header for my 2001 Mirage for about $90 shipped NEW off of ebay and I gotta shell out that much coin for the CAVY.
I'm still considerin gthe BAER brake kit though just not sure from who (if anybody) when I get around to doing it.

wot-tech i think its called over on 60degreev6.com has 2.8 and 3.1 stuff well actually they have stuff for all the 60 degreev6's
wot-tech has a variety of goodies for gen 2s (and very helpful stuff at that, including the last chip I can think of for the 3.1 you can buy brand new), and if you're looking for STBs, a bigger TB, or something to clean up the look of your engine bay, MRZ performance makes some really nice stuff. In fact, I think you could buy everything on both companies' lists and not have any doubles of any given part (at least not for the 3.1 gen 2).
